"Affordable, engaging lessons for beginners and novices"

I provide one-on-one lessons for children and adults from complete beginner level to grades 1 and 2 ABRSM. These lessons are tailored for the ability of each skill level, and I'll do my best to match my teaching to your preferences and personal goals by using methods which work best with you.

I can also guide you through specific pieces, songs or genres you would like to learn at your skill level. After all, it's important to play what you enjoy, because it makes practice a whole lot more motivating!

I'm flexible with teaching: let me know if you'd like me to teach at your piano or at my piano studio. I am available anywhere in Aylesbury, outside of that will cost extra just due to distance.

About Me

Hi, I'm Ben, I am a first-year student at the University of Warwick studying Engineering. I've been learning and studying classical piano for the past decade, and I'd love to teach something I'm truly passionate about in a town that has been my home all my life, where I've completed my GCSEs and A-levels at Aylesbury Grammar School. I've completed ABRSM Grade 8 Practical, now preparing for an ARSM Diploma exam soon. At university, I play keyboard and occasionally bass guitar for Warwick Big Band society, a student-led group who plays various forms of jazz and swing music for both venues and charity events.

If you'd like to come to my home for lessons, there's a piano in my living room. It is a Roland digital baby-grand piano with fully weighted keys, similar in feel to a regular acoustic piano, good for learning technique with. Parents can relax on the sofa next to it while their child has a lesson. Be warned, I've got a dog in the house but she's very friendly and loves to say hello.
